The "Sheikh Khalifa Industry Award"
is a continues process for assessing management’s efficiency
and their approach to quality. It is the oldest quality award
in Abu Dhabi and the only award in the UAE specifically for
manufacturing industry. Its objective is to improve the development
of the industrial sector of Abu Dhabi by promoting the use
of the principles of Total Quality.
The objectives of the award are to promote the growth of the
industrial sector of the Abu Dhabi Emirate and to encourage
industrial concerns to move down the road toward Total Quality.
The award seeks to achieve this by the measurement of the
performance of companies, comparison of this performance with
an excellence model and the identification of improvements.......
